EZ STREET Cold Asphalt is available in 50Ib bags as well as 1 ton bulk sacks. EZ Street is a viable “flexible” alternative to hot mix. Recent research shows that EZ Street Cold Asphalt exceeds state hot mix specifications for stability and stripping. Traditional hot mix requires waiting at the plant, saw-cutting edges of potholes, cleaning and applying tack coat. Afterwards, the messy hot mix is applied, rolled and then you must wait hours before the area can be opened to traffic. Plus, there’s usually wasted mix left over.
